The third year of the Caputo Cup was quite a smash in the 94 degree heat at Sagamore Golf Course. The match was the most epic in it’s illustrious three year career coming down to a 14 hole playoff to determine a champion.
At the end of 18, the team of Reiner/Wallace tied team Heikkila/Brown with scores of Four over. It took 14 playoff holes of evenly keeled competition til Dave Heikkila drained a putt from 17 feet away.
