THIRD ROUND RAIN

Round three was…a weird one to say the least.

12 players showed up due to the rain in the forecast.

Luckily the rain held off for most of the day and everyone was able to finish the course.

In a comeback for the ages, Ray Steinberg and Ben Brown (week one winner) came from 5 strokes behind on the back 9 to win by a singular putt on the last hole (seen below).

Was it an epic collapse by Matt Peters and Jay Kearns? Not so much. On the back nine they shot just 2 over while blowing away all but one team; Steinberg and Brown.

The win by these two set up a clash for the final foursome of the year when it’s one for all, total score aggregate.

The pairings will be decided on Friday before the showdown on Sunday.
